PAULA W. DAVIS Born and raised in the city of Nassau on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas, the youngest of seven siblings. Both of my parents played a very pivotal, yet short lived role in helping to mold the individual that is today. My mother was a teacher and passed away when I was 15 years of age and my father, a school principal by profession, passed away when I was 21 months old. At a very young age I mastered the role of independence. After lower education I pursued a college education and became an accountant by profession. It was over 25 years ago I heard The Lord calling me into Ministry. At that time, still very young and new to the Ministry, I began to print gospel tracts and went into many areas of the community distributing them, I also ministered to families in their homes and prayed with them based on their individual prayer requests. Subsequently, I began “street meetings.” This entailed going out into the streets and parks of the city of Nassau and preaching. I became very aware of the hands of The Lord upon my life and that He was calling me to a higher realm. During this time of higher calling I began receiving invitations for various speaking engagements throughout the islands of the Bahamas and the United States of America.

Still seeking a home church, I was led by The Holy Spirit to New Life Christian Centre, on the island of New Providence where I became a member and eventually an Elder. It was at this time that “Fisher’s of Men Evangelistic Outreach Ministry” was birthed by The Holy Spirit through me. The ministry was commissioned in 1999 by Apostle S. Douglas Cleare and Dr. Betty L. Cleare of New Life Christian Centre. In pursuance of becoming a more qualified and diversified minister I enrolled in principles of Life Bible College, in the Bahamas, where I acquired a Diploma in Evangelism in the year 2000, an Associate’s Degree in Financial Management 2002, a Bachelor’s Degree in Systematic Theology, 2004 and finally a Master’s Degree in Biblical Hermeneutics. Yahweh (God) has placed His anointing upon my life for this end time harvest of souls and for the transformation of the church into the manifested sons and daughters of God, which is his desire. I was ordained to the role of bishop in 2007 and continued to remain humbled by the works that Yahweh has continued to do in and through my life.
